Membership

Upon joining the club, the following facilities are available for your use and enjoyment:

Outdoor Facilities

Associate membership at the Archers of Caledon comes with a front gate key, which entitles you to immediate and unlimited access to the club’s outdoor shooting facilities (International target range; 28-target field course; 3D course; outdoor practice range). The outdoor season usually runs from April to late September. An orientation day for the outdoor facilities is offered in early spring.

Indoor Facilities

The clubhouse and indoor range facilities are accessible to Associate members when a Full member is present (usually Wednesday and Thursday evenings, Saturdays during the day (after 11:00am when archery classes are being held), and the 1st and 3rd Friday nights for our members’ and guests’ Fun Night.

Instruction Program

The Club’s archery instructional programs (available to non-members for a fee of $90.00 for a six week course) are $40.00 to club members. Private sessions can also be arranged on an individual basis with any of the club’s coaches for a fee. The club has several members who are nationally certified coaches with the NCCP (National Coaches Certification Program).

(2) Associate Family (includes spouse & dependent children)
$396.00/year
(3) Student Membership - must be a full time student
$100.00/year

There is also a one time INITIATION FEE of $50.00 ($25.00 after the completion of a 6 week instructional program). With the exception of Student members, membership fees can be paid quarterly or monthly with post dated cheques. The membership year runs from January to December, and rates are adjusted for those joining during the membership year. Associate members are eligible for Full membership after a minimum of one year of active participation in the club.

Membership Responsibilities

The Archers of Caledon is owned and operated by its members. All members are required to contribute a minimum of 16 hours of work per year to the running and maintenance of the club. Members wanting to use the facility who do not participate in the work share program will be charged an additional $160.00 over and above the membership fees. This additional fee must be paid before membership renewal will be considered.
